Here’s a little about my background:
At Back Office PA you will benefit from over 30 years' PA and administrative experience in a wide variety of industries.
Having begun my working life as a secretary, I gradually advanced to PA to a chairman of a jam manufacturing company. I was there for 12 years and learned a tremendous amount about how a company ticks, taught to me by the chairman himself. As well as continuing with my secretarial duties, I held the position of PA to undertake more confidential and responsible tasks. This allowed me to expand my learning even more, and included a role within customer service.
In the years that followed, I expanded into seminar management with a training company from the US. This enabled me to travel the UK selling training resources as well as having full control of training seminars on a daily basis (apart from the delivery), in a different town each day. I adored the travelling and the opportunity to meet hundreds of people during this period.
Since then, I've held various other PA posts and have had to hit the ground running on many occasions, which I've enjoyed to the full.
I am fortunate to have learned so much and it helps me to adapt and understand my clients. My approach is to become the extra pair of hands needed, just at the right time, for as long as is necessary, during which time, as I learn about my client’s business and get to know them, I aim to improve my service, ongoing.
